Day 1: Arrival in Kochi and Transfer to Munnar
Your journey begins with a flight from Delhi to Kochi, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. From Kochi, you will embark on a scenic drive to Munnar, a hill station renowned for its tea plantations and picturesque landscapes. Day 2: Explore Munnar
After a hearty breakfast, set out to explore the breathtaking beauty of Munnar. Your first stop will be the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and known for its rolling hills and diverse flora and fauna. Next, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history and process of tea production, followed by a visit to the Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy boating on the serene reservoir.
In the afternoon, explore the Echo Point, known for its natural echo phenomenon, and the Kundala Lake, a picturesque spot perfect for a relaxing stroll or a boat ride. Return to your hotel in the evening, where you can unwind and enjoy dinner.
Day 3: Munnar to Alleppey – Houseboat Experience
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Alleppey, often referred to as the "Venice of the East." On arrival, you will check in to a traditional Kerala houseboat, where you will spend the night cruising through the tranquil backwaters.
As you glide through the serene waters, enjoy the lush green paddy fields, coconut groves, and quaint villages that line the banks. The houseboat crew will serve you freshly prepared Kerala cuisine, giving you a taste of the local flavors. Spend the night on the houseboat, lulled to sleep by the gentle sway of the waters.
Day 4: Departure from Kochi
After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and proceed to Kochi. If time permits, you can explore some of Kochi's famous attractions, such as the Fort Kochi area, known for its colonial architecture, and the Chinese Fishing Nets.
